bio

Mary-Lynn lives, works, and plays in Toronto, Ontario where she was born.  She studied photography at Ryerson University and received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in 1994.   She began working with clay later on in life.

Its tactile nature and earthenly properties compelled her to begin working with clay.  Mary-Lynn often looks for ways to create pieces that show the inherent nature of clay.  Whether its leaving the clay unglazed to reveal its natural beauty or carving into it, she creates pottery that exposes clay of its very basic elements.
